Roslyn is a village in Nassau County on the North Shore of Long Island at the eastern edge of the Town of North Hempstead. Settled in 1633, Roslyn is a charming village that is often described at picturesque by its 2800 residents.
Roslyn has two historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places, along with numerous structures and its most recognizable landmark, the Ellen E. Ward Clock Tower which was built in 1895.
